Blast the Community is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to expand our network of minority, women, and veteran-owned brick-and-mortar businesses. This role is perfect for a passionate, community-driven individual who can connect with local business owners, encourage them to list their businesses on our platform, and foster a spirit of collaboration rather than competition. This is a commission-based role with a competitive and scalable earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Business Outreach & Onboarding

Identify and connect with brick-and-mortar businesses that align with our mission.

Educate business owners on the benefits of listing on Blast the Community.

Guide businesses through the sign-up process, ensuring a smooth experience.

Community Building & Referrals

Encourage businesses to recommend similar or complementary businesses for listing.

Promote a cooperative mindset, helping business owners see the value of working together.

Attend networking events, business expos, and community meetings to build relationships.

Regional Strategy & Growth

Develop strategies to increase business listings.

Track engagement metrics and refine outreach methods based on results.

Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns for businesses.

Support & Advocacy

Provide ongoing support to listed businesses, ensuring they maximize their platform benefits.

Gather feedback to help improve the platform and its services.

Advocate for underrepresented business owners in the region.

Compensation – Commission-Based Earnings

This role is 100% commission-based, offering significant earning potential based on performance:

15%–25% per listing.

Tiered Commission Structure:

1–1000 listings/month: 15% per listing

1001–5000 listings/month: 20% per listing

5001+ listings/month: 25% per listing

Bonuses & Incentives:

$1000 bonus for reaching 1000 new listings in a quarter.

Additional bonuses for bringing in high-profile businesses.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong connections in the business community (preferred).

Experience in community engagement, sales, or business development.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Passion for supporting minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses.

Comfortable with technology and online platforms.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet outreach goals.
