Charles Drew Health Center

Charles Drew Health Center, established in 1983, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Omaha, Nebraska. Its mission is to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families in North Omaha, regardless of their ability to pay.

The center offers a wide range of services, including primary medical care, dental services, behavioral health support, and pharmacy access. Operating under a patient-centered medical home model, the center emphasizes building strong relationships between healthcare providers and patients to ensure holistic and continuous care.

Charles Drew Health Center operates multiple locations across North Omaha to enhance accessibility for the community. The main campus, situated at 2915 Grant Street, features 23 medical exam rooms, nine dental exam rooms, 10 behavioral health offices, and a full on-site pharmacy. Other locations include facilities within the King Science and Technology Center and Northwest High School, among others.

They provide on-site interpretation and translation services to accommodate non-English speaking patients, ensuring comprehensive care for the diverse community they serve.
