Search
The most important part of the site is the Search Bar. Best practice is to pick your listing type, select the first three letters of your category or listing name, or city into the location bar and click the search button (the magnifying glass). If you select a city from the dropdown, you’ll only see listings in that specific town, not listings nearby. The gear box is the search filter. Just depressing the search bar or magnifying is a general search.

The difference between a category and a tag in keywords to search
Category:
Purpose: Categories are used to group listings into broad topics or types.
Hierarchy: Categories are hierarchical, meaning they can have parent and child categories. For example:
Parent Category: Restaurants
Child Category: Vegan Restaurants
Child Category: Fine Dining
Example Use: A listing for a bakery could fall under the category “Food & Beverage.”
Tag:
Purpose: Tags are used to provide more specific or descriptive keywords about the listing. They are more flexible and granular than categories.
Hierarchy: Tags are non-hierarchical, meaning they don’t have a parent-child relationship.
Example Use: The same bakery listing could have tags like “gluten-free,” “family-owned,” or “open late.”
